AHEPA Mother Lodge #1 & Empty Stocking Fund- A 30 Year relationship

AHEPA ML #1 continues its long standing community support (37th year!) of the Empty Stocking Fund (ESF) and the JROTC of North Atlanta High School.  The ESF is an 89-year old, Atlanta based, Atlanta serving nonprofit that provides gifts to more than 50,000 metro area children living in poverty each Holiday season.

Over a two day period (Saturday, October 31st & Sunday, November 1st), thousands of JROTC cadets from metro Atlanta high schools raise awareness and funds for the Empty Stocking Fund throughout the community.  Last year, approximately 2,500 JROTC cadets representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, raised nearly $90,000 for the organization, enough to provide gift packages to 4,500 local children living in poverty.
