AHEPA Family,

 

It is with great pleasure to announce the founding of a new chapter in District 1 located in Athens, Georgia. The chapter will be known as the “Classic City” Chapter. On February 22 a group of officers from the District went to Athens to get the ball rolling. Brothers Kurt Knisley and Steve Demos  from Mother Lodge Chapter1 are founding brothers for the new chapter. The AHEPA officers attending the first meeting were D1 Gov. Pete Nassos, District Sec. Harry Kipreos, Sec. Ron Sprouse, ML President Charles Burland, PGD John Boosalis, PDG Patrick Garland, and Brother Jim Burke Marietta. This past Monday,  DG Pete Nassos, D1 Sec Harry Kipreos, and PDG Patrick Garland initiated 3 more brothers and swore in the chapter officers with Kurt Knisley sworn in as Classic City President. The chapter will hold their meetings on the third Monday of each month. The next meeting will be Monday April 18, 6:00 pm St Philothea , Watkinsville, GA.
