On March 25th, the Samaria Foundation and Atlanta’s Samaria Chapter of the Pancretan Association held a wine tasting seminar at the Annunciation Hellenic center featuring authentic Greek wines from the island of Crete.

Wines featured were brought to us courtasy of Lyrarakis Winery of Heraklion, Crete, and the seminar itself was conducted by Bart Lyrarakis, owner of Lyrakis Wines.

AHEPA encouraged all faithful brothers to come and to Commemorate the Feast Day of the Annunciation & Greek Independence Day by toasting a glass of fine Cretan wine and learning to better appreciate the flavors of the Greece.

Proceeds from the wine tasting will go to benefit The Annunciation Cathedral's Benevolent Fund (financial assistance to individuals and families in need) and charities supported by Samaria Foundation Inc.
